Major/Essential Functions
- Provides patient care and diagnosis in Pediatric Endocrinology to newborns, children and adolescents
- Determines nature and extend of disease or injury
- Prescribes and administers medication
- Ensure compliance with HIPPA and billing regulations
- Participates in research and scholarly activities within the Department of Pediatrics
- Demonstrate Professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster school of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility
- Participates in the education of medical students and residents of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine

Required Qualifications
- M.D./D.O. degree or foreign medical equivalent degree
- Successful completion of ACGME-accredited Pediatrics Residency Program and Pediatric Endocrinology Subspecialty Residency (Fellowship) Program
- Posses or eligible to obtain a Texas State Medical License
- Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) in General Pediatrics and either certified or eligible for certification by the ABP in Pediatric Endocrinology
