Major/Essential Functions
  • Supervises and teaches residents and medical students in classroom and clinical settings
  • Provides patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings affiliated with a Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Performs scholarly activities
  • Participates in committees and other administrative duties of the department and the school of medicine
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
  • Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine’s Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Required Qualifications
  • M.D. / D.O.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopaedic Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery  Fellowship Program
  • Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas
