Major/Essential Functions
- Provides administrative support to Assistant Director/Assistant Academic Dean for the Office of Faculty Development Maintains electronic calendar for appointments, and activities, and events.
- Coordinate business travel arrangements, prepare and submit travel application and voucher for the Assistant Director/Assistant Academic Dean for the Office of Faculty Development.
- Provide customer service by answering the department telephones, greet, and direct guests and visitors.
- Provide support with the annual property inventory to ensure that all equipment is accounted. Provides assistance with completing and submitting documentation (Temporary Use of Property Authorization form, transfers, surplus, missing , and addition).
- Provides support for all institutional educational programs conducted by the Office of Faculty Development.  Which include  Instructional Faculty Development Course (IFDC), Departmental Faculty Development (DFDP), and Instructional Faculty Mentoring Program (IFMP).
- Assists with the Continuing Medical Education component in the coordination of all Office of Faculty Development events related to the departments' educational programs. Duties include, procuring the disclosure statement and content validation acknowledgement form, curriculum vitae, and presentation from speakers. 

Position Specific:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, previous experience working with continuing education events, coordinating multiple activities and/or projects.
- Experience with REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) program.
- Experience with taking and preparing minutes.
- Experience with video taping and taking photographs.
- Determines the type of classroom and A/V support required for all events and educational activates. Provides support by reserving rooms, submitting facilities and A/V equipment work orders. Including managing the catering for the workshops and follows institutional policies and procedures.
- Provides support by preparing, creating evaluation surveys, distributes, and collects materials for statistical analysis for the faculty development outcomes and satisfaction, the face-to-face and online courses.
- Enters in the REDCap program all of the institutional educational programs (IFDC, DFDP, IFMP) and performs queries and generates reports using REDCap.
 Plans, schedules and assures timely delivery of materials and equipment for all projects associated with all the educational programs (IFDC, DFDP, IFMP).
- Handles the distribution of incoming correspondence, packages, and deliveries on behalf of the department.
- Coordinates and assists with meetings agenda preparation, take minutes, prepare minutes and logistic setup for the Institutional Faculty Development Course, Departmental Faculty Development Program, and Institutional Faculty Mentoring Program. 
- Serves as Unit Safety Officer for the Office of Faculty Development.
- Provide support to ensure delivery of online learning material is provided and reviewed before uploading to Canvas.learning management system.
- Provide support in preparing and creating reports for accreditation (LCME, SACS, and CODA).
- Performs other duties as required or assigned by immediate supervisor. Be a project manager on one of the following, Faculty Development graduation, Faculty Development Course networking dinner, and Need-to-Know Grand Rounds.
