Position Description
Performs varied and complex administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project
and/or program. Requires independent judgment and application of established policies and procedures. Works under
general supervision with evaluation based on overall results obtained. Assist with institution-wide projects, initiatives,
and data processes that support academic program advancement, revamping of academic business processes, and
support accurate data integrity

Major/Essential Functions
  • Assess academic business processes to identify and resolve gaps within and between academic enterprise and curricular systems
  • Assess and optimize academic data formats and structures across academic enterprise and curriculum management systems to promote data management efficiency and integrity
  • Propose and facilitate academic systems integration in collaboration with the functional stakeholders, application vendors, and TTUHSC El Paso Information Technology (IT)
  • Collaborate with schools, student services, library, academic and disability support, IT, and other campus offices to optimize academic enterprise and curriculum management systems and processes on projects as assigned
  • Maintain awareness and research evolving practices and technologies relating to academic enterprise and curriculum management. Propose and assist with the evaluation of such innovations as may be necessary to maintain and improve the academic mission of TTUHSC El Paso
  • Serve on committees in relation to academic enterprise and curricular systems, and other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in information management systems or related field
  • Prior employment with 5 or more years of experience as a higher education systems analyst or consultant, preferably at a health-related institution
  • Knowledge of Ellucian ILP/Banner, Canvas and related curriculum and learning management systems

Required Qualifications
