Major/Essential Functions
  • Administers neuropsychological testing including, but not limited to WAIS, WAIC, Trails A & B, WCST, clinical dementia rating and projective testing, scoring and evaluation for adult or pediatric psychiatric conditions
  • Provides direct patient care by diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of behavioral health conditions within a multidisciplinary setting
  • Participates in teaching and training residents, fellows and medical students including presentation of lectures
  • Participates in academic research and scholarly activities in the Department of Psychiatry
  • Participates in committees and other administrative duties as assigned
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulation
  • Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Required Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology
  • Successful completion of an internship or residency in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
