Position Description
Assists in the design of content for media platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging, and meaningful to news consumers. The position promotes a favorable and consistent image of the department and the university for internal and external audiences.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Manages project social media accounts by developing/suggesting weekly content for posts.
  • Creates, edits, and develops video content for educational program, scripts, websites, social media posts, new releases, and marketing related content or other tasks, as assigned by direct supervisor. 
  • Generates analytics report every month for social media accounts. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Position Specific Qualifications 
Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing or related area/field with two years of experience. Experience in editing and writing content. Knowledge of Adobe, Canvas, project management software, and knowledge of social media platforms. Ability to travel around El Paso County to record educational videos.
