Position Description
Performs specialized analytical duties in the operation and maintenance of assigned area. Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing and developing data relative to area, making recommendations and assisting in implementation of projects. Work is performed under general supervision with latitude for independent judgement in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Manages institution-wide processes to meet reporting requirements set forth by professional organizations, as well as state, regional, and federal entities which regulate delivery of higher education programs.
  • Assist the Managing Director of the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness in the ongoing design and implementation of institution-wide processes in order to assure compliance with SACSCOC accreditation standards and related requirements.
  • Manages a comprehensive, integrated, Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Plan that will ensure a systematic and ongoing process of collecting evidence for demonstrating and improving the overall effectiveness of the institution.
  • Employs working knowledge of institutional effectiveness/institutional research/program evaluation practices, including research/evaluation design, data collection, and statistical analysis of results to meet reporting requirements and to manage Continuous Quality Improvement and institutional effectiveness initiatives at the institutional level.
  • Provides logistical management and effectively organizes regular meetings of institutional groups and committees, as related to accreditation and Institutional Effectiveness (IE) processes.
  • Utilizes large-scale, institutional databases and/or data management systems for ongoing collection, storage, and analysis of institution-wide data and processes.
  • Monitors development and adherence to the timeline for acquisition and maintenance of SACSCOC accreditation.
  • Develops presentations for regular meetings, workshops and trainings, utilizing presentation software.
  • Works collaboratively with the Managing Director to ensure compliance with external agency policies, reporting requirements and deadlines.
  • Serves as an assessment consultant for academic programs and other university-wide administrative units.
  • Coordinates the management of activities related to the quality of academic and administrative programs.
  • Performs other related functions as assigned by the Director of OIRE.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in educational administration, higher education, public administration, business administration/management, public health, social/behavior science, or a related field is required.
