Responsible for teaching and application of computer aided designs and techniques for the fabrication of dental
prostheses or corrective devices for replacement of natural teeth in both Clinical and Pre-Clinical settings.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Assist course Director and provide Cad/Cam lecture support as needed in both the clinical and the pre-clinical laboratory setting.
  • Work effectively with Faculty and Student Clinicians using all necessary channels of communications that facilitate the accomplishment of tasks. Effective in assessing clinical needs.
  • Assist course director in teaching digital waxing of teeth for learning dental anatomy and occlusion.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Digital Dental Technicians.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor or Clinical Dean of Clinical Affairs.

Preferred Qualifications
Computer aided design experience for fabrication of all currently prescribed fixed and removable dental prosthetics.
Experience in digital wax for dental anatomy.
Working knowledge of all digital equipment related to the manufacture of dental prosthetics including, but not limited to: -Multiple chair-side and stand-alone imaging systems
-Multiple versions of design CAD and CAM software systems
-Digital Printers -Dental milling machines

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree plus six (6) years of directly related experience, with one (1) of those years in a supervisory role.
Certified Dental Technician (CDT).
