Position Description
Advises individuals and provides guidance services regarding complex issues of assigned area. Work is performed under minimal supervision in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Shares in responsibility for the Financial Aid Office.
  • Assist in the monitoring and assuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
  • Responsible for performing the day to day operations of the Financial Aid Office
  • Counsel students/parents regarding federal, state and private student financial aid.
  • Serves as initial point of contact for all students regarding questions related to Financial Aid.
  • Serves as financial aid liasion to the School of Nursing.
  • Responsible for assisting in the monitoring and updating of Banner with current Information.
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate record keeping as required by federal, state, and institutional regulations.
  • Monitor and review daily disbursements report for accuracy.
  • Participate In community outreach( FAFSA Nights)
  • Serve as backup SCO for VA benefits processing.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree plus three years related experience or combination of education and/or progressively responsible related experience. 
  • In depth knowledge of all federal and state student financial aid programs.

Pay Statement
