Position Description
Create, gather, analyze, report and reconcile SOM administrative and financial functions. Duties to include financial statements analysis, exception reporting and account management of specific activities under the direction of Sr. Director/Sr Managing Director.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Assist SOM team with assigned tasks and projects as assigned
  • Works with Sr. Director and Sr. Managing Director to prepare reports and financial analysis
  • Monitor SOM fund balances and assist managing expenditures and budgets
  • Reconcile federal funds/ departmental operating funds/ and endowments to provide a recap to departments on available funds

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in entry level accounting and budgeting
  • Experience with Cognos and Banner preferred
  • Ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles to higher education
  • Must be organized and detail oriented, with problem solving skills and data analysis experience
  • Ability to multi-task and support an innovative, collaborative, inclusive, and team-oriented environment
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
