Major/Essential Functions
  • Inpatient and outpatient case management, gynecological surgery, labor and delivery coverage
  • Participation in teaching activities with residents, interns and medical students
  • Development and participation in research activities
  • Involvement in hospital and university committees is expected
  • Adheres to Institutional and Departmental policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with Paul L. Foster School of Medicine Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations

  • Strong publication record and/or interest in conducting research

Required Qualifications
Academic degree as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held. Minimum Qualifications: 
  • M.D/D.O.
  • Successful completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
  • Board Certified in OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Eligible for Texas medical license
