Major/Essential Functions
  • Works closely with faculty and community physicians to maintain an active, productive specialty practice
  • Provides inpatient and outpatient case management, surgical expertise, takes call coverage
  • Participates in teaching activities with residents, interns and medical students
  • Develops and participates in research activities
  • Participates in hospital and university committees
  • Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates Professionalism in accordance with Paul L. Foster School of Medicine Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations

Required Qualifications
  • M.D./D.O.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Obstetrics/Gynecology residency program
  • Successful completion of fellowship in gynecologic oncology, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery or reproductive endocrinology and infertility
  • Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Eligible for Texas medical license
