Major/Essential Functions
  • Provides inpatient and outpatient case  management, gynecological surgery, labor and delivery coverage
  • Provides Family Planning teaching and supervision of residents, interns and medical students
  • Facilitates faculty in the delivery of complex contraceptive counseling and services
  • Provides research and education on new techniques and approaches for family planning services including access to care
  • Develops and participates in research activities
  • Involves in hospital and university committees
  • Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates Professionalism in accordance with Paul L. Foster School of Medicine Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations

Preferred Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Background in clinical or basic research
  • Experience and interest in education of residents and medical students
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish

Required Qualifications
Terminal academic degree (or its equivalent) as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held. Ability to teach effectively
