Position Description
Performs specialized analytical duties in the operation and maintenance of assigned area. Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing and developing data relative to area, making recommendations and assisting in implementation of projects. Work is performed under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Major/Essential Functions
  • System Administrator for Chrome River Expense and Travel System.
  • Identify and maintain a working knowledge of procurement rules and regulations of TTUHSC El Paso and the State of Texas related to Travel and Procurement.
  • Create training manuals and reference material for the Chrome River System.
  • Establish and provide a monthly campus training for the Chrome River System.
  • Citibank administrator for travel and PCard credit cards.
  • Chrome River PCard and Travel Monthly Reconciliation.
  • Daily and Monthly reconciliation for BTA (Business Travel Account), Travel Advance account, Prepaid account and travel encumbrances.
  • Assist with reviewing and approving travel reimbursements. Resolve all travel related questions.
  • Assist with reviewing and approving Direct Pay transactions via TechBuy. Resolve all Direct Pay related questions or issues.
  • Assist with all Banner issues and testing for Chrome River documents.
  • Confirms all daily Cognos reports are generated and scheduled daily.
  • Travel Agency Liason.

Candidates with experience in higher education are strongly preferred. Experience with different systems such as different Banner, Jaggaer, Chrome River, etc. preferred.
