Position Description
Performs specialized analytical duties in the operation and maintenance of assigned area. Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing and developing data relative to area, making recommendations and assisting in implementation of projects. Work is performed under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Major/Essential Functions

Maintain admissions office web pages, updating as necessary.

Maintain data and retrieve statistical information for reporting/generate reports as requested by Associate Dean or Senior Director of Admissions in a secure and confidential manner. 

Monitor TMDSAS, AMP and BANNER for the application/admissions processing including accurate accounts of all status changes.

Screen and evaluate medical school applications.

Assist in processing/screening of applications and ensure the integrity of applicant data between AMP, TMDSAS, BANNER and AXIOM.

Maintains a wide variety of confidential materials relating to department faculty, staff, students, and applicants.

Assists in the preparation/conduct of interview days and subsequent Admissions Committee meetings.

Test and modify existing databases and/or databases management systems and software and coordinate w/IT staff to make necessary modifications.

Enters interview scores of applicants for review by Admissions Committee into the Gatekeeper system.

Identify appropriate grant opportunities for the Office of Admissions.

Prepare grant applications for external funding opportunities.

Prepare data reports for recruitment efforts, accreditation cycles and scholarly activities.

Assist with recruitment and advising as needed.

Maintains and ensures all incoming students' file has been processed to Xtender and BANNER.

Assist with outreach/pipeline programs as needed.

Maintain the Office of Admissions glass display case.

Responsible for overseeing special projects.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean, Senior Director or Associate Director.
