Position Description
Performs specialized analytical duties in the operation and maintenance of assigned area. Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing and developing data relative to area, making recommendations and assisting in implementation of projects. Work is performed under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Develop, test, implement, and manage enduring online materials for the institution's faculty (PFLSOM, GGHSON, WLHSODM, and the GSBS). 
  • Develop and implements data collection systems for statistical analysis.
Position Specific:
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the development of enduring online material for faculty and residents, which includes course design, implementation, reporting, and administration of the learning management system (LMS). Develops and implements data collection systems (database, data warehouse, data cubes) and performs reporting and statistical analysis. Responsible for acquiring and interpreting publically-available research data sets from federal and/or state agencies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred expertise in eLearning Authoring Tools (Articulate, Captivate), statistical software (SAS, R, Python), programming languages (JavaScript, NET, SQL), databases (MS SQL, Oracle, Access), and skillful/knowledgeable on MS Excel (Pivot Tables, statistical packages) and Can MS. Proficient in Multimedia software (Adobe Creative Cloud products Premiere, Audition, Photoshop, etc.).

Pay Statement

Occasional Duties
  • Provide technical support to faculty for quality improvement projects, tenure and promotion support (application generation), digital multimedia production of videos, images, poster presentations, and electronic surveys. 
  • Provide technical support and preparation of documentation, teaching, and assessment materials and equipment for faculty development activities. 
  • Computer, multimedia software and programming IDEs. 
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for equipment within the Office of Faculty Development. 
  • Provide technical support with the institution's learning management system (Canvas), of the OFD programs, and online faculty projects. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree plus four years progressively responsible related experience; OR a combination of education and experience to equal eight years.
