Position Description
Performs highly skilled mechanical and/or analytical duties in a lead position in the coordination and completion of projects. Work is performed under general guidelines using established procedures and evaluated on results obtained. Supervises subordinate employees.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Ensures that all protocols are followed to meet the goals of grants and projects associated with COE-N. Also with the direction from Principal Investigator and Research Associates participates in the operation of grants and projects associated with the COE-N, to include adhering to institutional regulatory norms and IRB deadlines.
  • Assist in general administrative tasks related to research. Helps with recruitment, enrollment, scheduling, data entry of survey instruments per grant requirements and ability to reliably. Performs psychiatric assessments to include the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview Plus and Kids, YMRS, BISS, STAN among others. Record keeping/ordering lab supplies and participants dietary supplies/needs as per protocol to ensure smooth operation of research studies. Keeping record of swift card payment for study participants, processing and ordering cards for studies. Keep track of research related items i.e. psychiatric assessment tools, recruitment and data analysis software licenses, etc. Attends weekly research meetings with principal investigators and research staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assists in the appropriate transmission of clinical case data to the data management centers; reviews case report queries and problems, and clarifies and/or obtains changes to data as appropriate.
  • Must be able to obtain consent for research studies and activities associated with the appropriateness.
  • Perform refinement and manipulation of working data files; database management and data entry. May be involved with supervision of research volunteers and students. Must be involved and conducting grant related activities.

Master's degree preferred. Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) and read in English and Spanish is preferred.

Required Qualifications
