Position Description
Supports the department by performing administrative duties related to planning and coordinating programming in support of academic enrichment of the department, institution and community.

Major/Essential Functions
Coordinates activities in Child Fellowship
Program and Internal Medicine/Psychiatry
Residency program. This includes preparation
and distribution of calendars, rotations,
seminars, call schedules for programs. Maintains
and coordinates clinical rotations for fellowship
and residency.

Provides clerical support for all child and
adolescent faculty and IM/Psych faculty.
Maintains faculty calendars, answers phones,
takes meeting notes, and schedules meetings.

Other duties as assigned.

Coordinates acceptance of candidates into Child
Fellowship and IM/Psych Residency to include
processing applications, scheduling interviews,
and handling candidate evaluations.

Maintains fellowship program records and
evaluations. Completes program reports in
accordance with accreditation standards. Tracks
participant progress through the program for
completion of requirements. Coordinates
information required for ongoing program

Compiles data and statistics for performance
reports and prepares other reports for the Child
Fellowship, CAD Division and IM/Psych
programs. Maintains Child Fellowship and
IM/Psych Program and CAD records and

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software. Be able to handle various tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Working knowledge of medical and scientific terminology. Proficiency in the Spanish language.

Required Qualifications
High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
