Major/Essential Functions
- Assist Radiology Faculty in educating dental students regarding digital intra-oral, panoramic imaging and dental photography
- Cover the OHC screening clinic for making panoramic, CBCT images and assisting students
- Conduct QA on sensors, Nomads and calibrate CBCT in compliance with the State of Texas Department of Radiation Health
- Attend OHC QA meetings monthly and prepare radiology re-make compliance report quarterly. Print all QA reports for OHC Radiology book quarterly
- Maintain Radiology equipment and supplies
- Preform additional duties as directed by supervisor

Preferred Qualifications
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technology or a Limited Permit in X-ray Technology and a Registered Dental Assistant in the State of Texas
- Be able to make digital FMX, panoramic, lateral cephalometric, CBCT imaging, and use related digital imaging software
- Be able to perform dental photography, Quality Assurance and calibration to compliance with the State of Texas, Department of Radiologic Health requirements
- Be able to provide training instruction to students who are learning to make dental related radiographs

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a high School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of approved two year program in radiological technology
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technology
- At least two years of experience in radiology
- Related education may be substituted for the required experience.
