Position Description

Work is performed in usual clinic conditions; requires a high degree of contact with patients and physicians.

Major/Essential Functions
- Employees in this position have the potential for exposure to blood or other potentially infectious material (OPIM).
- Maintains X-Ray and outside records e.g. MRI, C.T. Duplicate records and reports on any patient. Retrieves all TTHUHSC X-ray jackets outside films.
- Prepares patients for radiological procedures.
- Assists supervisor maintain daily supply stock levels to meet daily operational requirements. Notifies supervisor of equipment failure immediately.
- Responsible for assisting super- visor in maintaining compliance by utilizing established standards Responsible for being knowledgeable in Radiological services and maintaining established institutional requirements.
- Responsible for performing radiological procedures.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a high School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of approved two year program in radiological technology
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technology
- At least two years of experience in radiology. Related education may be substituted for the required experience
