A job involving an appointment for infrequent temporary work where the employee is called in as needed.

Major/Essential Functions
Work with nursing students in the clinical setting on a weekly, depending upon course requirements.  Assist nursing students in meeting clinical objectives set by the course facilitator.  Able to offer objective, fair critique of student performance and assist in remediation as necessary.  Monitor student progress of coursework through regular review of courses in Canvas.  Complete evaluations with student present at mid-term and at the end of the semester. Submit evaluation to appropriate clinical faculty.

Preferred Qualifications
Two or three years experience as a Bachelors of Science in Nursing prepared, currently licensed, active registered nurse on a Medical-Surgical or Acute Care unit.
