Major/Essential Functions
  • Act as primary REDCap administrator for the institution. Manage the REDCap system, including user management, project creation, system upgrade management, user support, user training, and policy/procedure creation and adherence
  • Provide administrative support, management, maintenance and training for the OVPR Sharepoint site, LabArchives and other third party research applications and systems and provide backup support for iRIS and other applications as necessary
  • Conduct analysis and business process improvement for OVPR departmental data, process flow and reporting
  • Analyze third party applications and tools to meet Research IT/OVPR’s goals and objectives
  • Other job related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Clinical Research and/or Research Administration is a plus
  • Experience with Sharepoint, iRIS/iMedRIS, REDCap, Cayuse and/or other research/sponsored program applications is a plus
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI is a plus
  • Experience with Banner/Cognos queries and reporting is a plus
  • Experience with SQL queries and adhoc reporting is a plus
  • Experience in computer programming and database design through education and/or experience is a plus
  • Experience working directly with end users is a plus
  • Specific or specialized technical skills, as appropriate to the area and/or team, is a plus

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Three (3) years related experience or a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years

  • Experience with requirements gathering, analysis and documentation for internal business processes
  • Analytical skills, including process description, logic, problem diagnostics, problem solving and attention to detail
  • Experience with application management and administration, creation of forms and reports and software testing
  • Experience with various types of software applications

  • Must be team oriented, self-motivated and flexible
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships
  • Possess the ability to generate clear and concise documentation
  • Understand key trends and best practices as they relate to business and application analysis
