Position Description
Performs complex supervisory, coordinative and management duties in the preparation and publication of printed materials for assigned area. Responsible for the production process and may include scheduling, editing, and design issues. Work is performed under general supervision in accordance with established regulations and procedures.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Will write and edit content for university related materials such as the newsletter and magazine articles, websites, social media, news releases, or other tasks, as assigned or approved by direct supervisor.
  • Develops new content for internal and external communication, creates story budget for Tech Talk, develops and distributes bi-weekly Tech Talk newsletter, compiles and distributes daily news clips, and writes and edits copy for websites as needed.
  • Collaborates with IA creative team to conceptualize alumni magazine design and flow with editorial content, schedules photo shoots, and edits magazine content. Maintains and designs digital magazine, edits digital content, and produces performance analytics.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related area plus three (3) years progressively responsible related experience; OR
  • A combination of specifically related education and/or experience to equal seven (7) years.
