Position Description
Performs highly skilled mechanical and/or analytical duties in the coordination and completion of projects. Work is performed under general guidelines using established procedures and evaluated on results obtained. May supervise skilled and semi-skilled subordinates.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Provide support for EMS Scheduling Software, and the ability to produce statistical and other reporting. Deliver online or onsite training using a variety of tools including online meeting and collaboration applications like Microsoft Office, Zoom, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams. Provide technical support for digital signage server, clients, and displays
  • Assist faculty, staff, and students over the phone and in person with classroom technology. Conduct all interactions with colleagues, end-users, and vendors courteously and respectfully. Serve as a resource and consultant to the University community regarding classroom technology information
  • Conduct post-training assessments to identify areas of improvement and transfer of knowledge.
  • Log service requests, document troubleshooting steps, and problem resolution details in ticket.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned. Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported, and meet the business needs and requirements of the institution.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field of study, such as Computer Science or IT.
  • Three to five years of related application implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Familiarity with Digital Signage, Microsoft Office, and Room Reservation applications.
