Position Description
The Server Administrator III’s role includes designing, installing, administering, and maintaining advanced computing systems. This includes conducting analysis of specification requirements, as well as, development and implementation of standards and procedures. The position is also expected to assist senior departmental management in IT strategic planning and provide general support for server operating systems and server applications.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Administer, upgrade,maintain and analyze enterprise and infrastructure applications in the Datacenter i.e. EMR, PACs ,CHAMP, Netscaler, VMWare, XenApp and VDI.
  • Setup, configure, secure and administer Active Directory, DHCP and DNS, ADFS/SAML and Server Operating systems: Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, Vmware Vsphere, Nutanix, Linux.
  • Assist with the selection, design and implementation of new technology in the Datacenter.
  • Maintain, administer and monitor Data Centers infrastructure. Ensure services and data are available, reliable, safe and recoverable.
  • Provides users with technical support as needed.
  • Assist supervisor with other work related activities
  • Work after hours and or weekend when required. Monitor network and data center services during on call schedule.
  • Administer, configure and monitor backup, recovery and business continuity infrastructure.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus three (3) years related full-time paid experience OR
  • Combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven (7) years.
