Major/Essential Functions
- Maneuver cart through shelves to gather, internally circulate, and reshelve library materials on shelves ranging from 0 to 7 feet high
- Check library materials in and out during shift
- Assist library patrons by answering questions, providing directions or assisting with the library’s computer system
- Process document delivery requests by pulling journals, copying or scanning correct article, maintaining document delivery logs, and distributing copies or scanned articles.
- Examine library stacks for overdue materials and send overdue notices.
- Answer the phone and respond to inquiries
- Maintain printers by stocking with paper, adding toner, and clearing paper jams
